Turn Your Ideas Into Action! 2020 VCU Pre-X

VCU’s Pre-Accelerator Program (Pre-X) represents the University’s commitment to student access and excellence in innovation and entrepreneurship. The goal of the program is to identify, support, and launch high growth and high potential startups and founders. The program is hosted by the VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation, which is the University’s cross disciplinary hub for student innovation and entrepreneurship and provides students at all levels unique academic and experiential learning opportunities.

Founded in 2015, participants of the program have found success, raising over $2M in investment and/or revenue across 5 cohorts. Students from the 2019 cohort were accepted into 4 national startup accelerator programs, competed in regional and national pitch competitions, and have received local recognition being among Richmond Inno’s 25 under 25.
